Kim Cox is the owner of Mattress by Appointment of Scottsdale and Chandler, where she has spent the past 10 years building a business rooted in community, creativity, and connection. Known as “Kim the Mattress Queen,” she has grown her stores through authentic networking, strategic partnerships, and a strong presence both online and offline. Her session focuses on turning local influence into measurable sales growth by blending networking groups, grassroots marketing with online reels and collaborations with chiropractors, sound healers, and other local businesses.

Kim’s entrepreneurial journey—while navigating adoption, divorce, and rebuilding her business—fuels her passion for resilience and authentic leadership. Alongside running her stores, she mentors other business owners and creates resources through her personal brand, Sometimes a Mom, which empowers women balancing motherhood, entrepreneurship, and personal growth.

Outside of work, Kim is a proud mom of two, an advocate for community-building, and an unapologetic fan of karaoke nights and nacho bars.
